Recognized Shows

Houston Dressage Society (HDS) hosts nine USEF “recognized” or licensed shows each year. Riders, horses and horse owners must be USEF and USDF members and have completed the online SafeSport training. All of these HDS shows are qualifiers for the regional championship competitions listed below.

In addition, the Level 3 or higher shows are qualifiers for several additional championships including:

• USEF FEI Dressage Festival of Champions

• North American Youth Championships (NAYC)

HDS also has the distinction of hosting one international dressage show (CDI) each year in April at the same time as the HDS Spring Classic I & II.  All HDS recognized show prize lists, entry forms and results can be found at www.showsecretary.com.  All HDS shows are held at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center.
