POSTPONED - Baird Schooling Show Championships

Houston Dressage Society (HDS) regrets to announce the postponement of the upcoming Baird Championship Schooling Show and Open Schooling Show, originally scheduled for December 6^th.   Show management has decided to postpone the show to run concurrently with HDS’s Winter I & II recognized show on January 17^th and 18^th.

This difficult decision was made in response to the recent confirmed cases and ongoing outbreak of Equine Herpesvirus-1 (EHV-1) in Texas and surrounding states. We are acting to prioritize the health and safety of all horses and minimize the potential spread of this serious disease. 

HDS is finalizing the details of a new prize list and the transfer/refund of entries and fees. More details will be sent soon.

Our thoughts are with the equestrians whose horses have been negatively affected.
