General Qualifying Rules

1. The HDS competition year for Recognized Shows now corresponds to the USDF competition year of Oct 1, 2007 through Sept 30, 2008. Schooling shows remain on the calendar year format.  The 2008 HDS competition year dates are as follows:

3. Scores earned prior to Horse and Rider registration with HDS will not be eligible for year-end awards.

4. Qualification is based on same horse/rider combination.

8. Scores earned in classes restricted to horses of a particular breed, or age (“restricted classes”) will not be eligible for HDS year end awards.
